30A- Final Reflection
- As I read through my posts I can tell I have definitely gotten better at this blogging thing! It was pretty hard to get the hang of at first but it got easier as the semester went on. My moment of dread was definitely filming the elevator pitch. I absolutely hate public speaking. Although no one was around when I did it I still got nervous!
- I think my most formative experience was coming up with a product and creating a plan for the project from launching it to potentially selling it. I am proud of myself for coming up with a product that I received so much positive feedback. It is very exciting for people to love a prouduct idea you come up with.
- I definitely think that I have developed an entrepreneurial mindset. I do not see myself as an entrepreneur yet. But with the skills I built in this class maybe one day I will!
- My recommendation would be to have an open mind and be confident about your skills and what you want to do. If you do not believe in yourself no one will so it is very important to be confident. I think it's important to pick a product that you are passionate about and you could see yourself pursuing in real life.

However, it is a very useful skill to have, so I am glad to have gotten practice with it. I think your last recommendation is a good one because if you don't believe in your venture and aren't passionate about it, it will make the course very tedious and long. Awesome job this semester!
Hello, it has been a long good ride. Writing all these blog posts was something of an experience. I enjoyed reading yours about your new revolutionary kind of paper towel. I also share the same experience with you on how much we all have improved on writing blog posts. Most classes we take we will never have to write this much. But it was a good experience, good luck in the future!

ReplyDeleteI think the elevator pitches helped a lot of us become more comfortable of public speaking because we are not used to doing assignments and tasks similar to that. However, that is one of the things that I would say helped me develop and improve my skills that I could use in the future. This class has also gave me some skills that I did not have before to help me create an idea one day if I wanted to. I also agree with your advice to pick something you are passionate about and would not mind pursuing.
